Happy Friday

Well, I am just finishing out the work week, which was quite amazing because it was shortened, and within a few hours I'll be headed up to NYC to celebrate Anisha's birthday yay! So that means for all of you avid readers of my blog (hi, Bill) that I will not be updating this wknd. I know, so sad =( But no need to despair too much, I'm going to leave you with a few thoughts on my second-favorite Latin American country before I go on my short, but very-much-needed respite this weekend:

Approximately two weeks ago, Chávez said that he has an informant in the White House. Interestingly enough, so do I! ...Except mine is actually a real person, not someone who lives solely in his head.

In old news from last Sunday, there was a massive opposition march in Caracas against Chávez. Events such as these where there is no violence --at least to my knowledge, although I wouldn't doubt if there were a few idiots out there to start trouble, as there always are-- nor were there any old-school politicians of the escuálido persuasion, can be chalked up as a success, particularly in countries in which political dissention is not welcome. Rosales went through the streets, talked about policies he wishes to institute, and was able to exercise the few freedoms which are left under Chávez's democradura...

And last but not least, el amor de Chávez jajaja Enjoy! Está diciendo boludeces...de nuevo.

I hope that all of you paraskevidekatriaphobics had a non-eventful day =) I'm off to NYC!!!

Hey, no problem! I've just recently discovered your blog, and I love it!
I was at work while reading the ad and I nearly died -- so ridiculous!
