Atlas Corps needs your help!

I have had the distinct pleasure of being in contact with Scott Beale of Atlas Corps here in DC. His work on international cooperation, thus far realized between the countries of India, Ecuador and Colombia, and the United States has thus far demonstrated highly promising results. I am quite keen on the way in which this project is carried out, as global partnerships for international development are facilitated with those individuals who truly want to better themselves and their societies using ingenuity and their talents. Don't believe me? That's cool; read for yourselves about 2007's fellows and their projects.

As you can all see, Atlas Corps is currently leading the ranks for donations, but is being closely trailed by other organizations. With only 29 days remaining, it is extremely important for donations to continue to come in on behalf of this organization's behalf. If they win this competition they will be the recipients of an additional $50,000 to further their work. So, for 10 minutes of your time and $10, you can be helping our this worthy cause which promotes international development in some of the most promising nations around the world.

As a Christmas present to myself, I donated. If you can, I would sincerely ask you to donate as well. Please go to www.atlascorps.org and donate today. If you can't, please pass this information along to others. Know that both Scott and I thank you for supporting this.

About Atlas Service Corps, Inc. (Atlas Corps) is a new international nonprofit organization that is building a global partnership for development through an innovative, sustainable and scalable fellowship program where nonprofit leaders with 4-8 years of experience volunteer overseas for one year to learn best practices, share unique insights, provided needed support and return home to their country. The focus of our program is nonprofit leaders from the global south (India, Colombia, and Ecuador) to volunteer in the U.S. for one year. We have successfully launched this year with 7 Fellows from India and Colombia as the first-ever organization to bring mid-career nonprofit leaders to the US to volunteer fulltime for one year. Please visit www.atlascorps.org for more information.

About the $50,000 Contest: GlobalGiving, the Case Foundation and PARADE Magazine are supporting a contest to see what organizations can rally the most number of supporters. Any donation over $10 counts. Eight organizations will win the $50,000 and 80 more will receive smaller donations. With your support, Atlas Corps has a great chance to win this contest. With $50,000 we will be able to bring two more leaders from India, Colombia or Ecuador to the U.S. and send one American to Bogota to volunteer for one year. Imagine that! With your $10 you can empower three people to volunteer overseas for one year! Please make your donation now, create an account so we can thank our donors, and help Atlas Corps by spreading the word. You must make your donation following the link found on our homepage: http://www.atlascorps.org
